Position Title: Mate
Compensation/Rate: $35/hour to start
Location: Nantucket, MA
Position Summary:
Fuller Diving is a full service but small diving operation on Nantucket Island, providing boat caretaking services, mooring inspections, retrievals.
Chris Fuller is the owner/diver and he needs a new mate.
Responsibilities include maintenance of workboat and shop, organization of tools and equipment, assisting diver, cleaning and fueling boats, some record keeping, billing and scheduling. Applicants should be conscientious, comfortable operating small to mid-size motor boats and possess strong communication and organizational skills. Snorkeling, basic diving and sailboat rigging skills are a plus- but not required. We generally plan for working an 8-4 workday, 6 days a week June through August but also respond to calls outside of those hours, and on weekends when necessary. There is work in May and September/October if the applicant is available.
