Position Title: Diesel Technician
Compensation/Rate: $20-$30
Location: South Portland, ME
Job Description: Including but not limited to diesel engine mechanical, electrical and electronics and boat systems installations. Operation of forklift. Lift boat blocking, jack stands and other items 50lbs or more.
Requirements: Individual must have good mechanical aptitude. Prior experience in diesel engine repair, electrical and boat systems repair is a plus. WE WILL TRAIN THE RIGHT PERSON. Must be highly organized, self-motivated, able to meet strict deadlines, and available for over time during the busy season. Applicants are required to wear a respirator when necessary, and have tools needed for daily tasks. Must have the ability to lift boat blocking, jack stands and other items 50lbs or more. Experience with fork lift operations is a plus.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Trade school is a plus.
