Position Title: Assistant Director of Woodworking
Compensation/Rate: $70,000-75,000
Location: Lowell, MA
Position Summary:
The Assistant Director of Woodworking is accountable for the day-to-day operations of UTEC’s Woodworking Production Social Enterprise. This position will directly supervise a team of two full-time woodworkers and one part-time woodworker in their day-to-day delivery of product production, waste mitigation, and safe and production utilization of industrial woodworking equipment. The Assistant Director will support the Sr. Director of Social Enterprises in fostering and manage partnerships with key stakeholders and customers of the Woodworking Enterprise and will be responsible for efficient communication (with these individuals and organizations), as well as logistics management, material and supplies purchasing, cost-management, lead-time management and SE work culture.
