Position Title: Boat builder
Compensation/Rate: $20-$35/hr commensurate with experience
Job Description: Duffie Boatworks an upstart custom boat builder and marine service provider is looking for an experienced boat builder or marine craftsman that wants to join our team of passionate individuals.
Duties include but are not limited to carpentry with different cores and plywood and hardwoods such as Fir, Mahogany and Teak. The applicant should be comfortable with fiberglass layup, repair, filling, fairing, paint application and repair. New construction and repairs are conducted on boats of all sizes up to 80 ft.
An apprentice tech position is available to a qualified applicant willing to learn a trade, and who has related experience. Salary is commensurate with experience. Qualified applicants can reply to this posting with a resume.
