Coatings Department Foreman – Camden
Lyman-Morse in Camden is looking for a full time Coatings Foreman. Experience with surface preparations and coatings, including fairing, sanding, painting, and other finishing procedures on boats and small parts is essential. This person must have the ability to run a crew and assist project managers in overseeing service and building projects. Knowledge of time management, estimating skills, use of Microsoft Office & Excel. The products can range from epoxy, polyurethanes, varnish, and other marine finishing products. Applications are done by brush as well as spraying. Experience required: 2-5 years marine painting experience, may substitute high-end automotive prep and finish experience. Working knowledge of airless pumps and traditional spray methods is also desirable. Benefits include paid vacation, health insurance and 401K.

Yard Crew/Travelift Operator – Camden
Lyman-Morse in Camden is seeking an experienced person to work in the yard-hauling crew. This person should have several years of experience in hauling, blocking, and setting down of small to large power and sail boats. Travelift experience is desired for this position. Hydraulic Brownell trailer experience, heavy equipment experience, or a mechanical background is preferred. Familiarity with ABYC Standard TY 28 is a plus.

Composites Technicians - Thomaston

Heavy Equipment Operators - Thomaston and Camden

Lyman-Morse is looking for experienced heavy equipment operators to join each of our yard crews in Camden and Thomaston. The yard crews are responsible for operating and maintaining a marine straddle lift (travel lift), along with a variety of hydraulic trailers, tractor trailers, fork trucks, cranes, man lifts and scissor lifts. The ideal candidates would have multiple years of experience operating and maintaining heavy equipment with diesel and hydraulic components such as forklifts, straddle lifts, hydraulic trailers, trucks, etc. Lifting and carrying heavy objects and attention to detail are key components of the job. CNC Programmer - Thomaston

Lyman Morse in Thomaston is looking to add a person to our CNC Department.

This person would cycle parts in and out of CNC machines reliably and quickly, while holding the tight tolerance the job demands. This person must have a "can do" attitude to go above and beyond to ensure that the work produces consistent quality.

Extensive periods of standing, lifting and walking around machines as well as climbing into and around confined spaces and onto heights to fit CNC cut parts is required.

Programming experience preferred but willing to train. Must be able to work overtime when necessary and willing to work in other departments as needed.
