Job Description:
Hodgdon Yachts is searching for an experienced composite technician with boat construction knowledge and experience to join our team at our Damariscotta location building world-class Tenders.
Technicians are responsible for building composite components using appropriate layup techniques and have a working knowledge of infusion techniques.
Duties: material lay-up and installation, core fitting and placement, basic placement knowledge of vacuum and feed lines. Trimming and fitting completed composite components, grinding, and sanding. Must be able to work with all shop tools, equipment, and chemicals associated with composite construction. May be required to travel both domestically and internationally to perform Tender service and maintenance.
Experience includes: working with boat building, composites as well as basic math, carpentry, and staging skills.
