Position Title: Design Associate/ Boatbuilder
Compensation/Rate: Dependent on experience
Job Description: We are looking for a unique candidate with both wooden boat building and yacht design training/experience to become a key member of our custom design/ build team here at Hylan & Brown Boatbuilders. Experience with 2D and 3D design software is a must. Hands-on experience with wooden boat construction is very desirable. But interest in, and willingness to participate in, all aspects of wooden boat construction is a must. This position will provide a unique opportunity to work closely with and learn from and our senior designer as well as our master builder/ foreman while helping to provide the necessary shop drawings/ patterns and CAM files for efficient construction of unique custom watercraft.
