Position Title: Designer/Engineer (Composites)
Compensation/Rate: Commensurate with experience

Position Summary:
NEXT Boatworks LLC is on a mission to reinvent rowing. We aim to make rowing accessible to everybody by designing & building category-defying boats that are easy and fun to row. Seeking an experienced composites designer/engineer. We are a full design-to-build shop, and are looking for collaborative individual to step into a creative design role. Expect a range of design challenges associated with a high-value boat building project, that values continuous improvement in a lean manufacturing environment. Candidates may either be local or remote.
Expectations:
• Create and modify tooling for small parts
• Communicate effectively with build team and external resources
• Efficient iterative design skills
• Experience with designing lightweight carbon construction
• Injection molding and compression molding not required at this time, but are a bonus, as these will be used in the near future.
