Position Title: Marine Electrician and Marine Systems Technician
Compensation/Rate: Commensurate with experience
Job Description: RIBCRAFT (Marblehead, MA): RIBCRAFT, a leading builder of rigid inflatable boats (RIBS) has immediate openings for full time, year round Marine Electricians and Marine Systems Technicians to join its production team. Having recently won two US Navy contracts, RIBCRAFT is growing quickly and is looking for quality conscientious people to join their fast paced environment where attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines is a requirement.
Qualifications: Highly motivated team player with 5+ years of marine industry experience as systems technician, mechanic or electrician; ABYC or USCG Electrical certifications are a plus; as is experience installing inboard and outboard engines, accompanying marine systems, wiring and interfacing marine electronics; Must be able to read wiring diagrams and assembly prints; Must have own tools; Must have a high attention to detail and be very quality conscious.
Duties and Responsibilities: Mechanical assembly and installation of components, wiring of distribution panels and loads based on schematic drawings, mounting and installation of marine systems including all hardware, electronics, assist in the rigging of primary and secondary engine systems, inspect and document assemblies and systems.
