Position Title: Marine Carpenter/Woodworker
Compensation: Good rates of pay
Company: Based in sunny, warm Jacksonville, FL, we are seeking an inspiring or experienced marine carpenter that has good or some working knowledge of boat restoration, building and repairing woodworking projects on various size yachts for long term, temporary or seasonal work. Proficient in double plank hull construction and cold molded plywood construction. You will be working mainly on restoration boats from 40ft to 100ft from minor maintenance to complete refits.
Position Summary:
Perform carpentry repairs and modifications both in and out of the water as needed
Complete repair work to deadlines
Maintain and use necessary tools
Other duties as assigned

Ability to work well in a team or alone
Ability to safely operate shop woodworking machinery
Must have a basic understanding of marine grade types of hardwood and plywoods
Must have the ability to periodically board vessels in and out of the water, work steadily in confined spaces, climb, lift, and move lumber and supplies as necessary
Requirements and Qualifications:
Position is full-time
Good rates of pay
Experience: 1 year’s experience or school equivalent
