Qualified candidate must have gel coat & fiberglass repair experience. Candidate will need experience in matching/tinting gel coat colors, spraying gelcoat & blending repairs, knowledge of different resins/applications, knowledge of various fiberglass materials & thickening agents to repair damaged areas on boats & watercrafts.
Examples of daily jobs would include: repairing air voids in gelcoat/fiberglass, repairing impact damage to hull or deck to include reconstructing delaminated fiberglass, repairing stress cracks & hull blistering, reconstructing motor mounts, wet sanding & restoring oxidized gelcoat, machine polishing painted surfaces, shrink wrapping in the fall.
Candidate must be able to multi-task, have a positive attitude & ability to work in a fast-paced work environment with others.
Candidate would work in a recently constructed, 3 bay waterfront shop. Richardson's conducts fiberglass repairs, detailing & shrink wrapping services year-round. We are searching for a long term employee who will work side-by-side with a experienced staff.
