Position Title: Carpentry Assistant
Compensation/Rate: Pay rate is $15-20 per hour and is based on experience.

Job Description: Belmont Boatworks is looking for an assistant for our carpentry department. Applicant should have boat carpentry or boatbuilding school education. Position will assist lead carpenter on projects for wood and fiberglass boats. Responsibilities may also include, helping with hauling and launching boats, buffing and waxing, bottom painting, general mechanic duties, rigging, fiberglass, general building and yard maintenance, a little bit of everything. Applicant must be able to lift 50 lbs. and work outside in all weather conditions. Must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Experience and a basic knowledge of boats and boat systems is a plus but we are willing to train the right person.
Position is full time year-round from 8:00 -4:00pm M-F. We offer health, dental & vision insurance, retirement plan with company match, paid holidays, and paid time off.
