Position Title: Lead Manufacturing Specialist

Compensation/Rate: Hourly or Salary depending on Experience

Location: Marblehead, MA

With our continued growth, we are seeking a Lead Manufacturing Specialist to join our team. This position reports to the Production Manager and would be based out of our Marblehead, MA location (on-site). Responsibilities include manufacturing, testing, and servicing SeaTrac's custom-developed USV. The position requires hands-on experience working with a range of tools. The Lead Manufacturing Specialist works as part of a small tight-knit team consisting of a variety of specialized engineers, salespeople, and boat builders. They must have strong communication skills, and be comfortable in a fast paced, small team startup environment.

Responsibilities:
• Manufacturing, testing, and servicing SeaTrac’s autonomous platform
• Building & installing various systems including propulsion, electrical, etc.
• Using hand and power tools to build & modify custom parts
• Work with designers and production lead to meet deadlines
• Interpret and utilize production documents (Technical drawings & Written Instructions)
• Continually analyze procedures for process improvements leading to the highest level of quality and productivity
Requirements:
• Practical experience with tools and equipment
• Able bodied and ability to work with your hands
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
Desirable:
• 1+ years of experience in the maritime industry (or similar)
• Proven work experience as a mechanic, boatbuilder, composite technician or similar role
• Experience in the marine industry is a plus
