Position Summary:
BoatRx is a specialized battery-powered air conditioning company. We design and install high-efficiency HVAC, lithium battery, and energy-generating devices on modern yachts BIG and small!
We are based in Boston and commonly travel to many cool boatyards throughout New England and the Chesapeake Bay. (In the coming year, we may move our shop to a location north of Boston.)
In the yachting world, a properly designed and installed mechanical system should look like a work of art! This is a very high-tech role, and we will mentor you. Sharpen your skills with us.
BoatRx is one of the few hands-on startup businesses in the marine industry that dares to think differently about generating and consuming energy onboard high-end yachts. We are a tight-knit crew. We're really good at what we do and love doing it.
We are hiring a marine electrical and HVAC systems installer. This is a full-time salaried position of $50-70K/yr based on experience. You'll need a driver's license. Our headquarters is in Boston, but relocation to the city may be unnecessary. You should expect to stay in nice air bnb’s about 60% of the time. Travel and lodging are covered—tool reimbursement program. We have fun on the road!
