Position Title: Marine Technology Instructor
Compensation/Rate: Commensurate with experience

Position Summary:
The H Lavity Stoutt Community College's Centre for Appleid Marine Studies (CAMS) is located on Paraquita Bay in Tortola, British Virgin Islands. We are a fully accredited 2 year college (Middle States Commission on Higher Education) and offer degrees in Marine Technology, short courses in Marine Professional Training (Intensive 8 week bootcamp style programme + 8 week marine industry apprenticeship designed as a gateway for entry level employment) and Maritime training courses (STCW, Caribbean Boatmaster, etc).
From 2019, we have aligned our curriculum with ABYC. We are also a Royal Yachting Association (RYA) training facility and are certified by the UK's Maritime Coastguard Agency (MCA) to deliver STCW.
We are seeking a full time instructor /faculty member to teach entry level courses in marine technology: Basic Marine Refrigeration and Air Condition, Marine Electrics, Intro Diesel and Intro Outboards. Courses are delivered in a traditional semester long format (Fall/Spring).
