Crocker’s Boat Yard is a family-owned boatyard established in 1946 in Manchester Ma. In 2007 we opened another inland yard in Essex. We are dealers for Yanmar, Honda, Westerbeke, Crusader, Simrad, and Sea Born center consoles. We service a wide range of boats inboards, outboards, power, sail, wood, and fiberglass. CBY has a staff of about 20 full-time employees, 35-ton travel lift, 35-ton crane, 4 over the road hydraulic trailers, inside storage and workshops, slips, service approx. 300 boat season. We do everything from basic maintenance to complete refits/restorations. We are working to add and improve our facilities, add to our dealerships, and grow our business. We are a busy year-round service yard.

Crocker’s Boat Yard Inc. is seeking qualified mechanics/technicians to join our team. We have openings for both outboard and inboard gas/diesel positions. Candidates should have some experience, willingness to continue and learn, basic knowledge of all marine systems, ability to work independently and on a team, familiar with ABYC standards (certifications are a plus), basic tools.
Any certifications or licenses are not necessary but would be a plus. Crane/hoisting license, CDL-A driver’s license, hydraulics, scuba, manufactures certifications, captains license, etc. are helpful.
