Position Title (1 of 7): Boat Builder
Compensation/Rate: $20 and up
Location: Damariscotta, ME
Position Summary: In this position, boat builders work with wood and composite, including, but not limited to constructing, fabricating, setting-up and installing hull sections, keels, frames, bulkheads, and decking. Duties include material lay-up and installation, core fitting and placement, basic placement knowledge of vacuum and feed lines. Trimming and fitting completed composite components, grinding and sanding. Knowledge of basic carpentry skills a plus.

Position Title (2 of 7): Designer
Compensation/Rate: $20 and up
Location: Damariscotta, ME
Position Summary: This position will assist with the design of custom Tenders for the super yacht industry. Successful candidates will have working knowledge of mechanical design and drafting. Familiarity with naval architecture, boatbuilding methods and composite constructions are a plus. They will assist senior members of the engineering team with preparation of drawings and documentation for fabrication and construction, as well as liaise with the production manager and other members of the production team to bring designs to completion.

Position Summary: This position is responsible for all surface preparations and coating of the vessel, may include fairing, sanding, painting, spraying and other finishing procedure. Finishing may involve epoxy, linear polyurethanes, and other marine finish products. The applicant should be familiar with brush and spray applications, have high quality standards and pay attention to detail. Must have basic mathematic skills and be able to read and understand paint mixing formulas, have flexibility to work in standing, squatting, or kneeling position, work in small-confined spaces, as well as reaching overhead with some twisting and bending.

Position Title (5 of 7): Mechanic
Compensation/Rate: $20 and up
Location: Southport, ME
Position Summary: This position includes repair and service on all types of marine engines, both gasoline and diesel, with an emphasis on diesel inboard and generator applications. Stern drive and outboard experience are also a plus. Duties include commissioning/decommissioning, troubleshooting and repair of water systems, engines, refrigeration systems, heating/cooling systems, AC and DC electrical systems and heads.

Position Title (6 of 7): Systems/Mechanical Installer
Compensation/Rate: $20 and up
Location: Damariscotta, ME
Position Summary: This position includes all aspects of installation of mechanical, propulsion, hydraulic and other systems into our newly constructed Tenders. This position also includes custom metal fabrication, welding, and light machining and must be able to work within close tolerances. Applicants should have experience in the installation of these system or equivalent education, training and experience as well as have a knowledge of basic carpentry and hand tools. Applicant must be able to fit and work in small-confined spaces and work ‘hands-on’ on multiple projects.

Position Title (7 of 7): Heavy Equipment Operator
Compensation/Rate: $18 and up
Location: Southport, ME
Position Summary: This position includes a variety of tasks including hauling/launching, detailing, bottom painting and routine maintenance of yard and buildings. Successful applicant must be able to follow directions, be a team player who can handle physical work and be able to bend, squat, kneel and reach overhead, climb stairs and ladders, lift over 50 lbs., and not have a fear of heights. Heavy equipment operation experience is a plus.
