Position Title: Electrical Technician
Compensation/Rate: TBD
Job Description: The Plant D Electrical Tech will work closely with the Engineering team to develop custom electrical harnesses for vessels ranging from 38 to 53 feet.
Responsibilities include:
• Creating and updating BOM’s from technical drawings
• Building electrical harnesses
• Continuous development of the Electrical Shop
• Maintaining inventory with a KanBan system
• Placing orders for product
• Creating peg-board table layouts for harness production from technical drawings
• Creating test harnesses and helping to develop the electrical quality program
• Maintaining the Electrical Shop
*This is a developing role and the position is not limited to the responsibilities listed.
Requirements include:
• 3-5 years experience with marine electrical
• Autocad experience
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Self-starter
• Bachelors degree
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds
