Description: Sales and Business Director
Broad Accountabilities:
• Lead sales activities to accomplish the commercial goals for the overall organization
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities
• Prepare and meet sales forecasts and budgets
• Conduct trade and customer events
• Perform hands on selling for the Mamaroneck Yard to include: o Work with project managers/ estimators to ensure accurate new construction, service, repairs/refits and maintenance estimates
• Work with operations on vessel inspection and document findings
• Collaborate with Sr. Management on the evaluation and analysis of new opportunities
• Perform other duties as required by the President/Sr. Management
Education & Experience:
• Bachelor Degree in a business related field or equivalent
• Marine Industry knowledge
• Must be a good negotiator with clear communication skills
• Able to think creatively & strategically ; develop ideas into business results
• Able to achieve profitable growth targets; proven track record
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively
• Build and maintain strong customer relations as well as internal relations.
