Position Summary:
Located in the heart of lake country in west central Minnesota, the town and communities surrounding Alexandria, has an active wood boat community whose restoration specialist of 30 years recently retired. We are seeking someone to relocate to the Alexandria area, start their own business to maintain our boats in their original standard. Ideally, this person would be able to work on both engines and wood restoration,
We are closely affiliated with the Legacy of the Lakes Museum, located in downtown Alexandria, which is second to Clayton, NY. There are approximately 25 wood boats affected by the retirement of our specialist. The museum has another 50 boats that will require maintenance.
