Boat Shipwrights and Apprentices Needed
Boat shipwrights and apprentices are needed now for the restoration of an iconic 1930's classic motor yacht. She was built to the highest standards by the New York Launch Company. She was built for the President of the New York Stock Exchange in 1929.
The boat is in beautiful Beaufort, North Carolina.
At Flagler Boat Works you will learn valuable skills while you work. I have been building, restoring yachts, and teaching these skills for forty years. I am very excited about the project.
I am looking for conscientious employees that can follow directions and work well with others.
There are not many wooden boat shipwrights / carpenters. There will be employment opportunities at the end of the project.
Salary dependent upon experience.
The restoration is expected to take 18 months.
