Work Experience Required:
• Individual must have good
mechanical aptitude and prior
experience in general boat systems
maintenance.
• Must be highly organized, self-motivated and able to communicate
effectively with team members on
projects.

Full Job Description:
• This is a small, full-service boat yard
under new management looking to
grow and build its future on the coast
of Maine.
• This position will include all aspects of
yard operations, such as, mechanical
work, bottom painting, detailing and
hauling/launching.
• This position will give you the
opportunity to be a part of building
and growing the service side of the
business.
• Inboard and outboard engine
maintenance, knowledge of diesel
and gas engines, vessel systems
maintenance and light equipment
maintenance.
• Operation of yard equipment and
hydraulic trailer operations for boat
launching and hauling.
• Ability to operate boats up to 40 ft. is
preferred, but not limiting to the
position.
• Lifting boat blocks, jack stands and
other items 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to understand and
comprehend service work orders and
take active, detailed notes of work
completed.

Qualifications:
• State driver’s license (required)
• Work authorization (required)
• Safely lift 50 lbs.
• Safely ascend and descend ladders.
• High school diploma or GED
(preferred)
