Pam Lendzion has 18 year’s experience in the Marine Industry as well as a 100 ton USCG Masters License. Currently Pam serves as Executive Director for the American Boat Builders and Repairers Association (ABBRA), the President of the Marine Industry Training and Education Council (MITEC) and is an International Marina Institute (IMI) faculty member, teaching Leadership and Management Skills to marina and Boatyard managers. Pam has been a speaker at marine trade conferences for many years. As a leader in two national trade associations, she is currently involved in an industry wide effort to develop a sustainable technically skilled workforce for the recreational marine industry and set standards for on-the-job skills training for boat builders and repairers. For the past six years as a member of Business Leaders United and with the support of National Skills Coalition she has been lobbying for funding to support skills training in secondary and post-secondary schools. For the past four years Pam has been producing workshops to educate trade association leaders and employers regarding methods for addressing the industry skills gap.
