Position Title: Composites Supervisor / Team Leader
Compensation/Rate: tbd
Location: Bristol, RI
Position Summary:
• Bilingual in Spanish and English (Preferred but not required)
• Supervisory position that requires team management skills
• Working from engineering drawings, written work instructions and process specifications to fabricate composite structures and prototype components.
• Prepreg and wet layup fabrication techniques, including vacuum bag processing, bonding, and oven/autoclave curing.
• Resin Infusion
• Fabrication of tooling and master patterns from various materials such as epoxy tooling blocks, carbon fiber, and wood
• Working with small shop power tools (saws, routers, sanders, and grinders)
• Assembly of composite structures including setup, bonding, and fastener applications
• Process control in support of FFC’s ISO Quality Management System
