Job Qualifications: Pompanoosuc Mills is looking to hire an energetic, talented and motivated person to lead our spray room team. The spray room operates as the first stop in our finishing department and the Finish Application Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all the processes involved in prepping for and applying finish to our furniture.
These tasks include:
prepping bear wood for finish
staining, spraying polyurethane or other top coats
sanding between coats
inspecting pieces before they leave the spray room.
The ideal candidate will have:
Strong leadership skills.
Experience with fluid application of clear finishes or paint.
Basic woodworking or carpentry.
Attention to detail.
Willingness to learn and adapt.
Ability to problem solve and innovate.
Somewhat flexible schedule may be possible as well as no limit on overtime.
Pay negotiable, commensurate with experience.
