Reports to: Edward Guirola, Service Manager Pay Basis: Hourly, Non-Exempt
Position Summary: The Equipment Operator will assist Boston BoatWorks’ service department in utilizing, managing the schedule, safety and maintenance of their heavy equipment including hydraulic trailers, travel lift, crane and boat stands. Occasionally, the equipment operator will assist the production team and facilities operations manager as required.

Primary Responsibilities:
•Operates hydraulic trailers and travel lift to haul and launch power and sail boats up to 70’ and 36 tons.
•Operates crane for stepping and un-stepping of masts.
•Operates forklift for various functions.
•Performs preventive maintenance inspections and service on equipment and trouble shoots problems.
•Maintains awareness of and consistently practices safe work habits.
•Performs heavy lifting, climbing, and carrying during job process.
Other Responsibilities:
•Will assist the service department and occasionally the production team.
•Performs related duties assigned or as the situation dictates.
Position Requirements:
•C or E License
•Proven knowledge of water filtration and storm water runoff
•Previous experience with hydraulic trailers, travel lift and crane required

•In-person
•Working in a warehouse subject to temperature changes with the weather
•Performs heavy lifting, climbing, and carrying during job process.
