Position Title: On-Water Programs Supervisor
Compensation/Rate: $35,000 - $40,000 per year

Position Summary:
The On-Water Programming Supervisor is an ambassador for discovery, learning, recreation, and safety on the waterfront at Independence Seaport Museum. The On-Water Programming Supervisor primarily reports to the Assistant Director of the Workshop on the Water. The On-Water Programming Supervisor will supervise the dock staff and instruct additional staff for on-water programming, is responsible for meeting all waterfront safety expectations, following all waterfront procedures and enforcing all waterfront policies. The On-Water Programming Supervisor is someone who balances the fun of on-water/waterfront learning and the safety and procedures required of it. There is a natural seasonality to this position: busier in the summer months with programming and summer camps, and maintenance focused in the off-season when some duties will more heavily relate to the Workshop on the Water. As expected with outdoor-centric and seasonally specific positions, the On-Water Programming Supervisor should be able to work in both hot and cold weather conditions.
