Great Island Boat Yard is in search of a full-time, Systems Technician. We currently have an excellent team of six (6) Systems Technicians, but wish to expand our team to serve our customers as the business continues to grow. Duties include marine system installation, maintenance, decommissioning and recommissioning. Great Island Boat Yard is a dealer, installer and maintainer for several marine systems manufacturing companies including: air conditioning, water makers, diesel heating, electronics, DC charging & distribution, and more.
Successful candidates will be detail oriented and energetic team players looking for physical work in a lively environment. Prerequisites include formal marine systems training and preferably marine system maintenance experience. Prerequisites also include the ability to lift, bend/crouch and wear a respirator as necessary.
