About the Employment Opportunity--
East Coast Yacht Sales (ECYS) is seeking an experienced marine industry professional to join our team through our Yacht Consultant Development Program. This unique position is designed for individuals with extensive on-the-water experience—cruising, passagemaking, or yachting—who aspire to transition into a career as a professional Yacht Consultant. Over the course of at least one year, you’ll receive hands-on training and mentorship across all facets of yacht sales—from client relations and marketing to contracts, closings, and operations. Upon successful completion of the program, candidates may be offered a full-time Yacht Consultant position at a mutually agreed ECYS office location.

Role Responsibilities--
As a Yacht Consultant Development Associate , you will work closely with our sales, marketing, and new boat operations teams to gain a comprehensive understanding of the yacht sales process. Reporting directly to the Office Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

-Managing incoming lead flow across all offices
-Supporting our Yacht Consultants in any and all capacities
-Assisting with closings and transaction nuances
-Learning the full yacht sales process from the inside out
-Working closely with our marketing and new boat operations teams

This immersive experience will expose you to the equivalent of years of real-world brokerage transactions—accelerating your path toward becoming a successful Yacht Consultant.

-Customer-oriented mindset with a commitment to excellence
-Self-motivated, professional, and eager to learn the business side of yachting
-Ability to work full-time, in-person at our Yarmouth, ME office
