Position Title: Fiberglass and paint supervisor
Compensation/Rate: 35-45 per hour based on experience
Job description: Our fiberglass and paint supervisor will have broad knowledge and the ability to train others on the job while performing their own duties. They will be responsible for quality assurance, completion of projects on time and informing management as to the status of each project on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will have significant experience with the following:
- Lamination schedules
- Identification of resin and materials utilized during construction
- Identification of paint and gelcoats and will know the proper procedures for repair on each
- Knowledge of ABYC standards as well as their application.
- Core material identification and the proper uses for each.
- Knowledge of advanced composites, (Carbon fiber and Kevlar) and manufacturing process and their repair process.
- significant experience in both fiberglass and paint repairs onboard boats.
Candidates will posses:
- a valid driver's license
- be able to pass a background check
- a team player attitude
- the desire to teach others and help them improve
- the desire to work in a small team.
- the ability to be hands on while supervising others.
- must have 5 plus years of previous experience.
