Position Title: Composite Technician
Compensation/Rate: $18-$25
Job Description: COMPOSITION TECHNICIAN – TENDERS DIVISION: Technicians are responsible for building composite components using appropriate techniques. Duties include, material lay-up and installation, core fitting and placement, basic placement knowledge of vacuum and feed lines and working knowledge of infusion techniques. Trimming and fitting completed composite components, grinding and sanding. Must be able to work with all shop tools, equipment and chemicals associated with composite construction. May be required to travel both domestic and internationally to perform Tender service and maintenance. Experience includes working with composites as well as basic math, carpentry and staging skills. The applicant must have a keen understanding of the safety procedures, have good communication skills and be a team player.
