Novurania of America is looking to fill various team positions in boat rigging applications. Novurania is a yacht tender boat manufacture located in Vero Beach, Florida. As a leading manufacturer of luxury yacht tenders, innovation is apparent in every model of our comprehensive line of boats. We specialize in high end custom yacht tenders for the luxury yacht, we also manufacture for the recreational and commercial markets.

Qualifications and Skills

• Boat building/rigging experience a plus • Must have previous stern drive experience, jet drive a bonus • ABYC Certification for Marine Electrical systems and other certifications will be highly regarded. • Experience with vessel system design (12V, bilge, fuel, and hydraulic) • Ability to design/install vessel systems • Excellent attention to details and accuracy • Keep clean and organized working station • Must be a team player! • Problem solving and creative skills • Excellent decision-making skills with strong initiative • Must possess organizational and multitasking abilities • Must have a friendly and positive attitude • Reliable, highly motivated and willing to teach team mates. • Must have a valid driver’s license • High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience • Must have the ability to communicate professionally and effectively (oral and written) as well as the ability to work well with others involved in diverse responsibilities

Job Description - Responsibilities and Duties

• Install Complete stern drive systems • Install typical rigging systems for steering, electrical, fuel, bilge, and lifting point systems according to engineering specifications • Drills holes, and installs accessories such as lights, batteries, switches, fuel tanks, and guide pulleys using hand tools and power tools, etc. • Installs parts such as hatches, marine hardware, metal trim, seats, cabinets, and windshields on fiberglass boats • Locates and marks position of hardware, seats, and other parts according to specifications, using portable electric saws and grinders, and bolts or screws them in place • Drills holes and bolts hardware, hatches, and other parts in place using hand tools • Applies caulking under rails, windshields, rub rails, and other needed areas using caulking gun • Install upholstery, etc. • Must be able to plan out and build high quality vessel systems • Communicate in a clear and concise manner with other team members to ensure proper installation of system and components. • Operate any equipment as needed

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: This position normal hours are 6:00am – 2:45pm. Overtime frequently required based on business needs. Novurania reserves the right to adjust shifts and times as business needs arise.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
