The Landing School has two beautiful, fully equipped boats for sale – a Town Class Sailboat and a Jericho Bay Lobster Skiff. Both boats were built by students in the Wooden Boatbuilding Program under the expert tutelage of our seasoned faculty. We are so proud of our students and their fine craftsmanship!

About the town class
The Town Class Sloop was originally designed in 1931 and built by Pert Lowell Company in Newbury, MA. The original construction consisted of lap-strake cedar planking on oak frames. The Landing School builds these boats with epoxy-bonded marine plywood and epoxy-laminated frames. These boats are built to last, and whether it be competing in the Town Class Nationals regatta or enjoying a leisurely, family day-sail, A Landing School “Townie” is a great choice for beginner and experienced sailors.
About the JERICHO LOBSTER SKIFF
The Jericho Bay is a classic design by Joel White, originally built by Jimmy Steele. It has been rebuilt using modern wood-epoxy construction for easy use off a trailer. The boat comes ready to go with a 2025 20hp Tohatsu MFS20 outboard, a Load-Rite trailer, and basic safety equipment.
